[origin: EP0921237A2] The tool (12) has at least one removal arm (35) fitted with a removal head (47) rotatably driven around the longitudinal central axis of the arm. The at least one removal arm is pivotable with the aid of a power producer (46) around at least one pivot axis at least through approximately 90 degrees. The at least one pivot axis (S) is provided at the opposite end of the removal arm to the removal head. At least three, preferably five cutting rollers are provided on the face side of the removal head. The vehicle is propelled on continuous tracks (5) and has a hydraulic forward movement mechanism. It has an additional suction nozzle (16) for picking up loosened stone material.
