[origin: EP0921239A1] The automatic WC installation has a bowl (6) fitted with a seat (7) and is moved in translation by a motor driven mechanism, passing through a window (8) in the wall (5) covering the cleaning system (4). The cleaning system directs a jet of liquid onto the seat and has a facility to dry the seat before returning the seat to its position in readiness for the next user.
