[origin: EP0921259A1] First a casement window frame is welded from vertically and horizontally aligned frame sections and a vertical mullion-like hollow chamber profile (5). The casement frame is initially in one piece divided vertically by the hollow chamber profile. The frame is then divided vertically into two halves by cutting through the center (16) of the mullion like hollow chamber section, and in the area of the cut faces the casement frame halves are connected to an inner and outer inverted section, which completely covers the cut faces. Independent claim describes hollow chamber profile with T-shaped cross-section.
