[origin: US6113415A] The invention concerns a connector assembly for connecting at least two plugs having contacts on their plug-in side to a common socket having corresponding counter contacts. The connector assembly includes at least a first and second plug having a guiding member and guiding receptacle for mating the plugs and inner and outer catching members for mating to a common socket. The inner catching members have enlarged portions which cause these members to be pushed into an unlockable position with respect to the socket when the plugs are mated together.
