[origin: WO9805234A1] The invention concerns a rotational cylinder (7) for a hair removal device, consisting of several pairs of clamping elements (8) each placed at an angle to each other, together with actuating elements (22) designed to bring the clamping elements into pair wise contact in the plucking area of the hair removal device and to separate them thereafter. At least one control device is available to drive the actuating elements (22). According to the invention a separate, individually mobile actuating element (22) is assigned to each pair of clamping elements (8).
