[origin: EP0922536A1] The method involves using two lever arms movable towards each other and linked to a transverse bearing (1) joined to the housing (3) by bars (6). A helical spring is positioned between the transverse bearing and housing as pressure-reducer. Tensile force is applied to form a ridge through the thin-walled, exposed cut on the blind rivet nut.
