[origin: EP0922574A1] The sheet guide device is fitted in front of the printing gap between the form cylinder and the paper guide cylinder. It has apertures connected to a pneumatic system. The device (9) consists of several chambers with apertures for compressed air output. These act with increasing energy (P1-3) on the sheet. The device is fitted so that there is a run-in gap between it and the sheet guide cylinder (10), which narrows in the sheet feed direction.
