Abstract (en)
To apply a colored decoration (51) to an object (40), it is at the supporting film (50) on a liquid surface. The object is at least partially immersed in the liquid to transfer the decoration to the object. The decoration (51) contains dispersion dye stuff which can be sublimated. The object (40) has a plastics material, at least at its surface, where the dispersion dyestuff can diffuse into it. The dispersion dyestuff is diffused by heat into the object (40), using infra red radiation, and especially by an infra red laser beam.

Ein Verfahren zum Aufbringen eines farbigen Dekors auf einen Gegenstand sieht vor, daß das farbige Dekor aus sublimierbaren Dispersionsfarbstoffen besteht. Die sublimierbaren Dispersionsfarbstoffe werden auf einen abstützenden Film gebracht, der auf der Oberfläche einer Flüssigkeit schwimmt. Der zu dekorierende Gegenstand wird über den Film in die Flüssigkeit gedrückt, um das Dekor auf den Gegenstand zu übertragen.
