[origin: EP0922661A2] The paper-folding machine has two intermeshing coaxial cylinders, which each carry a folding mechanism, and are displaceable in the circumferiantal direction. A coaxial drive gear is connected to each cylinder. The drive gears have equal numbers of teeth. A differential drive is connected to the drive gears, to displace the cylinders according to the harmonic drive principle.
