Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Steuerung des Schließzustandes einer Kraftfahrzeugtüre (1), bei welchem der Schließzustand zwischen Verriegelt, Entriegelt und Offen umgesteuert wird und eine Vorrichtung zur Verwirklichung des Verfahrens. Erfindungsgemäß wird eine komfortable Steuerung des Schließzustandes einer Kraftfahrzeugtüre (1) dadurch gewährleistet, daß die Umsteuerung zwischen den Schließzuständen Entriegelt und Offen abhängig von einer mechanischen Anforderung durch den Nutzer zumindest elektrisch unterstützt wird. <IMAGE>
