[origin: EP0922855A1] When the vehicle motor is running, starter operation may be prevented by using a filter (F), amplifier (A) and indicator (I) to detect residual waves from the alternator rectifier and signal (e1) a microprocessor (2) which also receives normal supply (e0). The microprocessor makes a transistor (T1) conducting to operate the motor (M) contactor (B,1) provided that there is no motor operation signal (e1).
