Abstract (en)
The male/female assembly for a plasma torch has an electrode body (3) having a sleeve shape forming the female part and an electrode carrier (4) forming the male part. The electrode body (3) has a screwed part (15) in which there is a slot which extends for a distance (d) inside the screwed part (15). The part (15) has a transversal cut of diameter (D1) and at least a part which defines a location (16) of diameter (D2) between the part (15) and the base of the electrode body (3) with diameter (D2) greater than (D1). The electrode support (4) has on a peripheral surface at least a guide (4'') having a local transversal profile corresponding to the profile of the slot and at least a screwed part (15') between the end of the electrode support front (4) and the screwed part (15').

Ensemble mâle/femelle (11) pour torche à plasma comprenant un corps d'électrode (3) et un porte-électrode (4), dans lequel: le corps d'électrode (3) comporte au moins un taraudage (15) au sein duquel est pratiqué au moins un évidement (8) se poursuivant sur toute la longueur (d) dudit taraudage (15), et au moins une partie aval définissant un logement (16) situé entre la partie amont taraudée et le fond du corps d'électrode (3), et le porte-électrode (4) comprend, sur sa surface périphérique externe, au moins un gabarit (4'') présentant au moins localement un profil correspondant au profil dudit au moins un évidement (8) du corps d'électrode (3) et au moins un filetage (15'), ledit gabarit (4'') étant situé entre l'extrémité aval du porte-électrode (4) et ledit filetage (15).
