Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19729516A1] The invention relates to a pump for discharging doses of liquid, gelatinous or viscose substances from a container, having a pump body made from flexible or elastic material. Said pump body can be compressed to form a suction vacuum and pumps via an outlet valve which opens when an overpressure occurs. The invention provides for a pump which has a simple self-suctioning design. To this end, the outlet valve is configured as a valve plate which closes the head of the pump body and forms a single piece therewith. Said valve plate is convex-shaped in the direction of pumping and has an indent which constitutes the valve outlet in the form of a lip seal.
