Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0923890A1] The links join a bracelet (6) made from a series of alternating links (8) and cylindrical bars (9), connected by one or more supple lines (10) passing through holes in the links and bars so that the bars act as hinges for the links. The bars are made from plastic, and the links from a mineral material with a hardness of 7.5 Mohs or higher, for example emerald, corundum, sapphire or ruby, with the holes pierced through them by laser or ultrasound. Links can be made from upper and lower plates with grooves forming through holes when the plates are joined together.
