Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0923899A2] A connector for curtain rails with open profiles in the underside to take sliders has a press fitting into the butting open ends of the curtain rail sections. A portal shaped fitting (9) locates between the ends of the rails and has guide flanges (10) under the rail to guide the sliders between the rail sections. The flanges have sloping ends (11) and a flat central sections (12). The guide flanges are slit to enable sliders to be inserted into the rails.
