Abstract (en)
The cutting or stamping tool (1) forms shaped slots in the edges of elastic material e.g. insulating foam. It has a scissors action with one jaw fitted with a support surface (4) to hold the material and with one jaw fitted with the shaped cutter (8). The support surface has a rear lip (10) to locate the material and with spikes (12) which grip into the material and hold it for cutting or stamping. The slot shape can have corresponding edges which lock into each other to curve the material.

Für ein nach Art einer Profilschere ausgebildetes Stanzwerkzeug zum Anbringen in insbesondere weichelastisches Material, mit der Gehrung entsprechend an einem Werkzeugträger angeordnetem Stanzwerkzeug und einem dem Werkzeugträger und dem Stanzwerkzeug zugeordneten Materialauflagetisch wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Materialauflagetisch (4) an seiner dem Gelenk (6) des Stanzwerkzeugs (8) zugewandten Seite einen Anlagewinkel (10) für das zu stanzende Material (7) aufweist, und daß am Anlagewinkel (10) mindestens ein vom Gelenk (6) weg gerichteter Niederhalter, insbesondere Dorn (12), zum Niederhalten des Materials nach dem Stanzvorgang vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
