Abstract (en)

An endless belt (2) with drive teeth is located in a continuous channel (10). The upper and lower points on the belt pass round gearwheels (3,4), one of which is attached to the drive motor (8). A slot (11) in the channel allows the load platform (1) to be attached (5) to the belt. The dimension of the channel and belt are such that there is no lateral degree of freedom on the belt. Thus if the belt should break it cannot deform within the channel and will remain in position.

Le dispositif selon l'invention comprend un porte-charge (1), un organe d'entraînement sans fin (2) passant sur des organes de renvoi (3,4), un organe de liaison approprié (5) reliant l'un des brins de l'organe d'entraînement au porte-charge, un organe moteur (6) pour faire tourner l'un des organes de renvoi, et des moyens (7) pour guider le porte-charge pendant son déplacement. Il se caractérise en ce que l'organe d'entraînement (2) est logé, au moins le long de son brin qui est relié au porte-charge (1), dans un couloir (10) comportant une fente longitudinale (11) livrant passage à l'organe de liaison (5) et le long de laquelle celui-ci est déplaçable pendant le déplacement en hauteur du porte-charge (1), et en ce qu'un jeu limité est prévu entre le couloir (10) et l'organe d'entraînement (2) afin qu'en cas de rupture accidentelle, celui-ci ne puisse pas s'affaisser à la partie inférieure du couloir sous l'action du poids du porte-charge. <IMAGE>
