Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0924334A2] In dyeing polyester textiles in an alkaline dyebath containing a disperse dye at over 100 degrees C, the pH of the dyebath is adjusted by adding a buffer mixture containing glycine and/or a glycine derivative and a caustic alkali before the start of dyeing and then a perborate salt is added to the dyebath. An Independent claim is also included for a dyeing ancillary containing glycine and/or a glycine derivative, a caustic alkali and a perborate salt.
