[origin: EP0924356A2] Surface run-off water is temporarily collected in the device (1) for redistribution, the device comprising an upper shaft part (3) and a pipe-shaped water tank (4) extending in a horizontal direction to form a water storage unit (5). The water buildup region (7) between at least one feed pipe (6) and an outlet opening (9) is used to form a sedimentation zone (10) in the bottom of the device.
