[origin: EP0924358A2] The cooker hob frame has an assembly frame (4) and a hob frame (1) for a glass plate (3). The hob frame is joined to the assembly frame by a connecting part (5). There may be a sealing element (2) between the glass plate and the part (12) of the hob frame which overlaps it. There may be an elongated hole (13) in the part (8) of the connecting part (5) joined to the assembly frame. There may also be such a hole (14) in the hob frame in the vicinity of the connecting part, which may be in the form of an angle bracket.
