[origin: EP0924379A2] The housing (1) in the installed state extends somewhat forwardly out of the brickwork recess. A front shutter is provided for the housing, in which operating components are accessible. The front shutter preferably has an introduction channel for the strap. The electrical drive motor (3) is formed as a highly compact, direct current collector motor connectable via an electronic rectifier circuit directly to mains voltage, particular 220 to 240 V. It has a power of more than 50 W, particularly 60 to 100 W. It is arranged in the plane of the winder (2) between the latter and the front shutter, preferably with its motor shaft parallel to the front shutter.
