Abstract (en)
Air is supplied by inlet pipes into a duct system (5) arranged in the grid bars (1) and is then guided after running through the duct system out through discharge pipes (9) into the air supply chamber underneath the grid and remote from the combustion side. Here the air flows outside round the grid bars from below and then through openings into the combustion chamber. The air supply and discharge pipes have controlled valves.

Der für die Bildung eines Rostes für Verbrennungsanlagen verwendete Roststab (1) weist einen schlaufenartig angeordneten Kanal (5) zur Durchführung von Kühlluft auf. Die an der Ausführöffnung (9) austretende Kühlluft wird vorzugsweise direkt in den Raum unterhalb des Roststabes (1) eingeleitet. Dort umfliesst sie mit erneuter Kühlwirkung die Unterseite des Roststabes (1) und vorzugsweise davon abragenden Kühlrippen (10;13), um anschliessend durch einen Schlitz (11) am freien Kopfende (3) des Roststabes (1) nach oben in den Verbrennungsbereich als Zuluft geleitet zu werden. <IMAGE>
