The foot pedal (2) is pivot (4) mounted and has a pair of cam elements (5,6) that engage the arms of a torsion spring (11). As the pedal is depressed the arms are spread and hysteris friction between the surfaces eliminate motion fluctuations. When foot pressure is removed the spring forces are applied to the cams to return the unit to the original position.

Ein Pedal (14) mit einem schwenkbar gelagerten, mittels eines als Schenkelfeder (11) ausgebildeten Rückstellfederelementes (12) in eine Grundstellung vorgespannten Pedalarm (3) hat einen Reibkörper (15), welcher mittels des Rückstellfederelementes (12) gegen eine Reibfläche (18, 19) vorgespannt ist. Der Reibkörper (15) ist erfindungsgemäß als Exzenterscheibe ausgeführt und ermöglicht so neben einer Hysterese auch einen nicht-linearen Verlauf der Pedalbetätigungskraft (FP). <IMAGE>
