[origin: DE19637621A1] The invention relates to a bonded nonwoven fiber fabric and packaging films strengthened with such a fabric, especially sausage casings based on cellulose. The nonwoven fiber fabric itself can be used as teabag paper. Bonding is achieved through treatment of a solution comprising cellulose, N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide and water. Bonding can be strengthened by a polyamine polyamide epichlorohydrin resin added to the fibrous pulp.
