[origin: DE19748821A1] The device includes an air divider (16) which has two shaft sections (34,36) rotatable in a bearing (38). The feed air path (54,57,70) and the additional air path (56,84,86) each have at least one throttling passage formed by at least one slot (40,42) in one of the two shaft sections and a face (39) of the bearing covering the slot. Each slot extends in the circumferential direction of the shaft, and from the start of the slot (41,43) to the slot end (45,47) has a cross section which becomes increasingly smaller so that an increasingly greater air resistance is formed with the bearing face.
