Abstract (en)
A vertical, tubular mixer barrel has a central axial rotating shaft extending down its full length from a top mounted drive (17), and coupled at the bottom end to the spiral rotor of a vertically arranged progressing cavity pump (4). Dry mortar is fed from a hopper (3) into the upper section (1.1) of the mixer barrel and undergoes preliminary dry mixing, to ensure homogeneity, under the action of a combination screw and paddle flights attached to the shaft. The plug of dry mortar passes down the barrel and a controlled flow of water is added through an inlet (1.3) and the mortar undergoes mixing the wet section (1.3) before entering the progressing cavity section (4) to be pumped through a finishing mixer (5) and discharged via a hose (6). Liquid colorant, from a container (12) is either sucked into the mixer water feed via a venturi device (7) or into the progressing cavity pump via a bore (4.2) in the stator casing (4.1).

Ein Verfahren zum raschen und kostengünstigen kontinuierlichen Herstellen pumpfähiger Mörtelmassen in einem Mischer, dem Trockenmörterl und ein dosierter Wasserstrom zugefügt werden, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß in den Mischer kontinuierlich flüssige Farbe eindosiert wird. Der Mischer umfaßt ein Mischrohr (1), dem an seinem oberen Ende Trockenmörtel und in seinem weiteren Verlauf Wasser zugeführt wird. In der Wasserzuleitung befindet sich eine Vorrichtung (7, 14) zum dosierten Zumischen von flüssiger Farbe. Alternativ kann der Mantel (4.1) der dem Mischrohr (1) nachgeordneten Schneckenpumpe (4) eine Bohrung (4.2) haben, an die eine Zuleitung (9) für flüssige Farbe angeschlossen ist und die in den Schneckenraum mündet. <IMAGE>
