[origin: EP0926280A1] The control box (1) with electric actuators (3), for the Jacquard loom harness cords, has compartments (2) for each to be installed and removed in a harness (5) layout where they are wound and unwound round a pulley wheel (4) at each actuator. A number of compartments are arranged in rows and columns, at right angles to the rotary axes (X-X') of the pulley wheels of each actuator in the compartments. A compartment can take a number of actuators, with positioners for at least one within the compartment interior using ribs across them or centering pins. The cover (15) for the control box has ribs (15a,15b) round the contained pulley wheels. Some of the cover ribs (15a) are at an angle to the rows or columns of compartments, to allow the harness cords to be aligned in parallel with each other. A cord guide bar (16) has holes (16a) for the harness cords to pass through, operated by the actuators in their compartments. Each compartment has a back wall (9) with an opening (10) for the power supply cables to the actuators. The back wall has a support surface for a locking plate to hold the actuator in place within the compartment. A control system (8) is at the back of the control box.
