Abstract (en)
The circuit chops selected frequency from combined signals by earthing through filter. The signal chopping circuit consists of a circulator (C) inserted in a channel. The circulator has its first branch (1) connected to the upstream side of the channel (6), and its second branch (2) connected to the downstream side of the channel. The third branch (3) is connected to earth via a series arrangement of passband filter (9), a threshold element (4) and an adaptive load (5). The passband filter is centered on the frequency at which the signal chopping circuit is to operate.

Cet écrêteur, sélectif pour une fréquence déterminée, est constitué par un circulateur (C) inséré dans une voie, circulateur dont la première branche (1) est connectée du côté amont de la voie, la deuxième branche (2) est connectée du côté aval, et la troisième branche (3) est connectée à la masse via l'arrangement en série d'un filtre passe bande (9) centré sur la dite fréquence déterminée, d'un élément à seuil (4), et d'une charge adaptée (5). Application : par exemple dans un réseau CATV, pour le traitement de signaux GSM. <IMAGE>
