[origin: WO9805256A1] The invention proposes a radiodiagnostics device in which a radiography machine communicates with a PC which is linked externally to the radiography machine. The PC provides a standardised bus-system which is adapted to an image acquisition card (8) configured as a plug-in card. The image acquisition card (8) contains at least one edge connector (10, 11) which is adapted to typical standardised bus-systems. The connector (10, 11) only uses operating voltages and does not use any signals specific to the bus for controlling the image acquisition card. For controlling the radiography machine (1, 20) and for communication between the radiography machine and the PC (4), the image acquisition card (8) contains at least one link that is specific to the machine (13) as well as a network link (12) for a standardised network connection (16).
