[origin: WO9812097A1] This invention concerns a steering device for motor vehicles with an electric servomotor as a steering booster consisting of a disk armature motor (13) and a pulsating drive (14), which are co-axially builit into the shaft (3) of the steering wheel spindle. This manner of construction is highly economical, results in exceptional economy of space and makes possible a dynamic response characteristic with good transmission characteristics for responsive stering behavior when steering the vehicle.
