Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9812405A1] The present invention relates to an end stop (1) submitted to continuous control by clamping, provided on a C-shaped guide profile (5) on which a motor driven carriage shuttles on a path to be defined by such end stops (1). The carriage is designed for any object of changing position to be coupled thereto, including a single-piece or two-piece door leaf. The end stop is intended to permit not only said object to be securely clamped without causing any change in the guiding profile form (5), but also, and above all, the object form to be made more stable. Furthermore, it is provided with an element (2) and a clamping plate (3) for securely clamping the guide profile (5) end sections (52), turned to each other and leaving between themselves a guiding slot (51), and for receiving said end sections while fixing them by means of clamping screws (4) acting upon them like a vice, the end sections thereby resisting the forces exerted by the carriage end stops.
