Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9812407A1] The invention concerns a C-shaped profiled guide rail (1) for displaceably holding a slide which is motor-driven in a reciprocating manner over a given distance and to which is coupled an object which is guided such that it can change position, in particular a single- or multi-part door leaf. In order to provide the profiled guide rail with sufficient dimensional stability even when the profile is thin and to facilitate fastening at the point of use, the profiled guide rail is designed such that projecting beads (11, 12) which protrude perpendicularly from the longitudinal centre plane (17) of the C-shaped profile (10) extending perpendicular to the web (14) are formed in the transitional regions between the web (14) of the C-shaped profile (10) and its adjoining U-legs (13) and between the latter and the end regions of the C-shaped profile (10) which brace their longitudinal end regions remote from the web (14) and whose ends (15, 16) face each other.
