[origin: WO9812723A1] An electromechanical relay, in particular, a moveable contact arm for a relay. The contact arm is manufactured by brazing a pair of contact pieces from both sides to a metal blade. In order to avoid excess brazing material contaminating the contact surfaces, the metal blade is provided with a through-hole over which the contact pieces are centered from both sides. The through-hole serves as a braze reservoir. Thus, excess brazing material flows into the hole which in turn limits braze flow up the contact edges which would result in contamination of the contact surfaces.
