[origin: EP0927768A2] This concerns an engraved cylinder for use on machines for rolled finishing of hides, artificial hides, fabric, synthetic materials and the like of the type having an externally engraved surface so as to form grooves or honeycombs in a continuous helical pattern. The said cylinder is characterized in that the angle of slope of the helix of the said honeycombs in relation to the axis of the body of the cylinder lies between 50 DEG and 85 DEG . <IMAGE>
