[origin: WO9815220A1] The invention concerns a taut textile fitting (101) to be slipped on a foldable tentering frame. Said covering has two overlaps (102, 103), which are interconnected along their inward-folded borders (104, 105) to form an envelope. At least one of the two laps has two parallel slits (111, 112) lying opposite each other. A slide-in sleeve (113, 114) for accommodating the tentering frame is accessed therefrom. The laps can have an identical or varying design. At least the lap forming the cleaning surface (120, 130) has a ground fabric (102a, 103a) with tightly-fitting and closely-lying pile threads. The borders of the two laps form together an edge flange (119). When the appliance is used close to mopboards, this edge flange tests with its vertical portion onto the mopboard enabling the appliance to clean floors and mopboards in a single operation .
