[origin: DE19640894A1] The invention concerns the wobble mechanism (2) of a striking tool which is provided with an air-cushion impact mechanism (1). The hub (5) of the wobble mechanism (2) is disposed on an intermediate shaft (3), a wobble plate (6) being rotatably mounted on the hub (5) by means of at least one roller bearing (10, 11). The tracks (10a, 11a, 12) are disposed inclined towards the longitudinal axis of the shaft (3), the wobble finger (7) of the wobble plate (6) being adapted to actuate the air-cushion impact mechanism (1). According to the invention, an economical wobble mechanism which in particular absorbs high axial stresses is provided in that a sheet metal flange (8, 9) is disposed in a rotationally rigid manner on each side of the wobble plate (6) on the substantially tubular hub (5), which is produced in particular by deep-drawing sheet metal. The wobble plate (6) and the sheet metal flanges (8, 9) are provided at mutually facing ends with the tracks (10a, 11a, 12) for the axial roller bearing (10, 11).
