[origin: FR2754208A1] The invention concerns a device for cutting out parts in a block (11) of fusible material using a resistive ductile section (4), heated, and maintained in tension in an appropriate initial position, the block (11) and the section (4) being driven in relative displacement during which the block (11) offers resistance to the section (4) tending to modify the deformation of the section with respect to its initial deformation. This device is characterised in that the installation comprises means for the automatic control of the relative displacement speed of the section (4) and of the block (11) of material at the instantaneous position of at least one portion of the section (4) for giving to the section (4) at every moment an optimal deformation corresponding to the previously selected cutting position. The invention is useful for hot-wire cutting of parts.
