[origin: WO9851861A1] The present invention furnishes a paper that includes at least two layers in the z direction, which in turn are, in the y direction, divided into at least two fields with properties that differ from each other and that extend in the x direction. These properties can be optical or tactile, preferably optical. Such a paper is secure against forgery as it has one appearance when looked down upon, yet displays another hidden pattern that becomes apparent when looking through the paper. An arrangement for producing such paper includes means of arranging stocks in exact positions on the roll screen, both in the y and x directions of the paper. The present invention also includes a method for producing such paper.
