[origin: WO9815755A1] The invention relates to the field of aircraft suspension systems. More particularly, the invention relates to a damped spring for an aircraft suspension comprising a dry spring and damping medium. The damped spring according to the invention is easy to seal and has little tendency to leak. According to a preferred embodiment, compression of the dry medium emulates the compression of a gas.
