Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0930110A2] Conveyor system for workpieces has at least one lifting column (21,22) for a linked carrier (25). The carrier has an extending and telescopic jib (39) at one side with a single transmission (41) for the lifting cable assembly (30), secured to each end side of the jib (39). The transmission (41) is operated by two static drive motors (28,29). The rotary direction and rotary speed of the motors (28,29) set the lifting and/or lateral movements of the jib (39).
