Abstract (en)
The cheese or a similar flexible item (11) to be cut is transported to the cutting device (13) on a conveyor belt (15) or on rolls which are accelerated or slowed down in speed as needed. To prevent the item (11) from unwanted movement on the transport device (15) it is held in position by a belt moving on rolls (29,30,33,34) from above and pushed by a rectangular pushing plate (26) from the back. Both units (26,29) are controlled by an electrical drive (24) and can be adjusted and operated individually. An Independent claim is included for a device for transporting such items.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Transport eines auf einer Auflagefläche (15) aufliegenden Gegenstands (11) in Richtung einer Bearbeitungseinrichtung (13), bei dem zumindest zeitweise ein Schieber (26) an der Rückseite des Gegenstands (11) angeordnet und synchron zu der Transportbewegung des Gegenstands bewegt wird. Ein ebenfalls synchron zu der Transportbewegung des Gegenstands und in Richtung dieser Transportbewegung angetriebenen Niederhalter (29) greift an der Oberseite des Gegenstands (11) an. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens. <IMAGE>
