Abstract (en)

At least one pressure and/or contact sensor, delivers signals proportional to the pressure exerted on the sensor, and the signals are transmitted to an evaluation unit, which from the signals, derives speed desired values, for accelerating or braking the vehicle, or for maintaining the actual speed. These speed values are transmitted to the control unit for regulating the travel speed of the vehicle. An Independent claim is also included for a device to carry out the speed control.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Regelung der Fahrgeschwindigkeit eines Fahrzeuges, vorzugsweise eines Kraftfahrzeuges, wobei in das Lenkrad des Fahrzeuges mindestens ein Druck- und/oder Berührungssensor, welcher bei Berührung und/oder Druckausübung ein elektrisches Signal liefert, integriert oder am Lenkrad angebracht ist. <IMAGE>
