Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19726383A1] The invention relates to an electrical machine tool for rotational and/or percussive tools such as drilling machines or hammer drills, comprising a machine housing (10) with an electrically driven working spindle (11) to drive a tool fitting (12) and a mechanical percussive element (16) which has a beater (18) that is accelerated in its axial direction, directly or indirectly beating the shaft of the tool and a drive unit (20) which causes the beater (18) to accelerate on the basis of a rotational movement. Said drive unit (20) comprises an axially displaceable sensing element synchronously operating with the working spindle (11) in order to achieve higher working spindle (11) speeds without using a countershaft. Said sensing element (21) is guided between two ring-shaped curved paths (22, 23) arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in relation to the working spindle (11) with axial clearance.
