[origin: GB2317648A] A fan mounting arrangement comprises an anchor bracket 1, and a hanger bracket 2 hingedly connected by bolt 31, 32 and a rod 5 to couple the hanger bracket to the fan member so as to allow adjustment of the spacing therebetween. As described, the mounting is connected to a tunnel roof 8 by bolt 11. The brackets may each have a plurality of fixing holes. A number of such mountings may be used to attach a fan to the roof of a tunnel having a non-planar surface.
