Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19642293A1] The present invention pertains to an instrument for measuring coordinates, provided with an optical touch-sensing probe for contactless sounding the structures and edges of the objects to be measured (4). The instrument includes a CCD camera with a lens (3) and a CCD matrix (5) on which the object to be measured is reproduced. The spacing between the lens (3) and the matrix plane (5) is adjustable depending on the blow-up desired. For adjusting the blow-up, a control member (13) is provided on the touch-sensing device (1), which can be connected with a driving member (14) mounted on the inventive instrument. The movement for adjusting the blow-up involves the driving member corresponding to the coordinate concerned. Furthermore, a switching device is provided for mixing both the electronically engineered cross-line signals and the CCD matrix (5) signals. A logic switch (15) for connecting the CCD elements representing the vertical and horizontal lines is provided. The signals from the touch-sensing device are transmitted either by cable or wireless through a video transmitter (8) to a video receiver which is part of an evaluation or display system (9).
