Abstract (en)
Constructional toy has one set of components with slotted edges and another with a compressible inner layer. The toy has two sorts of pieces - one (6, 7, 14, 15) solid with slots (2, 2') along their outer edges and flat surfaces, and the other (8 - 13), shaped to engage with the slots and made from two layers of wood and an inner layer of a compressible elastic material such as a foam or natural or synthetic rubber. Both sorts of pieces can be made from a plastic material instead of wood, with those having the compressible inner layer being slightly thicker than the slots so they have to be compressed to insert them. The pieces can be made in a variety of shapes and colors.

L'invention concerne un jeu de construction à pièces en particulier en bois emboîtables. L'objet de l'invention est un jeu de construction à pièces, en particulier en bois, emboîtables, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué, d'une part, de pièces à plusieurs faces dont au moins une présente une rainure de largeur calibrée et, d'autre part, de languettes susceptibles de s'emboîter, au moins partiellement, élastiquement, dans ladite rainure (2) et formée de trois éléments superposés et solidaires comprenant deux plaquettes entre lesquelles est interposé un moyen compressible, élastique, l'épaisseur de la languette étant très légèrement supérieure à la largeur de ladite rainure (2).
