[origin: EP0931643A1] The ball press has a pressing channel (3,4) in which a pressing piston (6) moves reciprocally and a driven delivery mechanism (17) which delivers the waste material through a pressing channel inlet opening (10) in synchronism with the pressure piston and depending on a sensor. The delivery mechanism has a load measurement sensor (28,34) whose signals automatically control the delivery mechanism drive and/or the pressing piston drive depending on presettable loading values.
