[origin: EP0931741A1] A paper stack turning machine (1) incorporates a jack by means of which the stack of sheets of paper is lifted, inclined and inverted. It further has clamps (4) which hold the stack of paper secure during this operation, pads with which the paper stack sides are re-aligned as required, and ventilators which loosen the sheets of paper from each other. One side of the stack (B) has a side-face rule (5) which operates in at right angles to the clamps (4), and which may be repositioned parallel to the direction of the clamp (4) plane.
