Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0931758A1] A damping device is provided to delay the lowering motion of the truck's lifting facility and is effective during the setting down of the load on the running surface. The damping device comes into effect during the last 15-25 centimeters of the lowering motion before the load is set down. The lifting facility has a hydraulic lift cylinder and the damping device is in functional communication with it. The damping device in integrated in the hydraulic lift cylinder and constructed as an end position damper of the cylinder.
