[origin: EP0931895A1] The closer is made from a moulded plastic with a body (11) in the shape of a vane, and is equipped with fastenings (13, 16) to engage with one or more threaded holes in the door surround designed to receive the lock catch plate. It also has a guide (18) which engages with the edge of an aperture in the door and a retaining member (19) to hold the door closed against the fixed bodywork.
